Origin
I began my aviation journey at Executive Aerospace. I was incredibly fortunate to fly the Douglas DC9 with my dad as my instructor. I then spent 10 years at SA Express flying the CRJ, and I was honoured to end my time there as the CRJ Fleet Captain. This experience was incredibly rewarding and shaped my passion for leadership roles within the industry.
Over time, I transitioned into training, becoming a full flight simulator instructor on the EMB145 and eventually the training manager at Simaero, Johannesburg. During the pandemic, I launched the Bryan Air Podcast to keep pilots connected and informed during the global lockdowns. What started as a way to stay in touch with the aviation community has since evolved into a platform that not only shares industry insights but also motivates and inspires both seasoned professionals and aspiring pilots to push beyond their limits. Bryan Air has over 200 podcast episodes and has consistently ranked as one of the top aviation podcasts in South Africa, the UAE and Hong Kong.
Vision
My vision is to be a leading source of motivation and inspiration for the aviation community, empowering both current and future aviators to achieve their full potential. Through my podcast, training programs, and digital platforms, I aim to create a supportive environment where aviators are encouraged to continuously improve, embrace new technologies, and confidently navigate the challenges of their careers.
Mission
My mission is to deliver impactful, motivational content that resonates with aviation professionals and aspiring pilots alike. Through the Bryan Air Podcast and Fly By Numbers series, I provide the latest in aviation news, industry trends, and cutting-edge training, all while encouraging my audience to pursue the best version of themselves. By sharing my experiences and insights, I aim to inspire the next generation of aviators to reach new heights in their careers and in life. My mission is to share this knowledge freely, ensuring that aspiring airline pilots have the resources they need to excel in the best industry in the world.
